Timtin, I haven't seen this score for over 50 years! I played this so very, very long ago.

Just wanted to give a nod to one my new 'favorite' movie score(s) for piano. Ludovic Bource's music for the motion picture "The Artist" is absolutely splended! Hal Leonard released the piano ablum in May of this year and I got my copy several weeks ago. The transcriptions/arrangments of the tunes not already appearing as piano works or as piano and orchestra are very well done and the music is so full of character (again this is essentially a 'silent film' so it had to carry the scenes).
If anyone was on the prowl for something new that nods to the 'old', it's a fantastic buy. I'm working my way through it right now on the side (when progress on standards and major rep allows it).

Has anyone else purchased this? I have the the original motion picture soundtrack and constantly listen to it. I do not tire of it.

I've heard the score but not thought of obtaining the sheets - I have such a long list of items to acquire!
BTW because of the way this site truncates URLs, it's best to either
embed them, or in this case just provide the minimal link needed:

Someone forwarded me a transcription of Philippe Rombi's lovely theme from
Un Homme et son Chien:

Also, Abel Korzeniowski made his piano score for
Evgeni's Waltz from
W.E. freely available:

Not from a specific film but seems to fit best in this category: Capitol March by Ernö Rapée and William Axt, dedicated to Roxy Rothefel.

I am looking for the soundtrack (piano score 2H) of the classic film Anastasia (1956), with Ingrid Bergman and Yul Brynner.
The music is extraordinary and, as far as I know, there is no edition for sale.
The link is:

Thanks in advance.

Hi Ilu - is this of any interest?

Alfred Newman wrote Brucknerian film music, so this might be worth a look.

Thanks Timtin; Although it is not the complete score, it is useful to me!
I will take a look to the site.
