Can anyone help me out with the piano sheet for Claude Bolling's "Borsalino"?

I don't want to buy a collection in which every other piece is duplicated elsewhere in my collection!

The music in that film was excellent. So, two years ago I tried to buy
a DVD of the film, without success. I ended up buying a second-hand
video of it instead. Because my VCRs don't have S-video or RGB outputs,
I haven't managed to strip off the macrovision encoding, to make it
possible to transfer this recording to DVD.

It's certainly on DVD now, but not as inexpensive as other films of that era, and a subtitled disk costs double the original even though the packaging is identical. Often I check for a downloadable subtitle online and then buy the DVD and rip it to marry the two together. It always seems to be French movies that require this as they would sooner commission Welsh subtitles for a disk than ship it with pre-existing English ones.

The complete soundtrack is not easy to acquire either - I've found no listings for it in France.

Being lucky enough to be able to receive satellite TV channels from most
of Europe, it seems to me that in general, the Romance language countries
tend to dub their English sound-track films into their own language, whilst the
Germanic language countries, with one or two exceptions, tend to use subtitles.

Of the many French films released at cinemas internationally, subtitles are provided. If they subtitle the DVDs then they will put every available language BUT English. On one DVD in FNAC in Paris I counted 15 languages.

I remember spending two months in Spain a few years ago where my hosts loved watching old Hollywood films dubbed on TV. I don't know they followed what went on as the conversations from one scene would leak over some way into the next

Best film channel:- TV1000. Best sports channel:- Nova Sport.
Best (only?) classical music channel:- Mezzo. (All imo.)

What have you get against Welsh subtitles?
