These were available at a chinese website, i thought i'd share them here with you'all. These are easily available in the west, so i hope you guys don't mind i post them here.

Wang Xilin (b.1936) is a Chinese Composer. When he was 12 he taught himself music theory, the huqin, accordion, brass instruments, as well as instrumentation and arranging. His first exposure to Western music was in 1955 when he began studying conducting at a music school run by the People's Liberation Army Central Committee. He studied theory and piano at a teachers college in Shanghai and graduated from the Shanghai Conservatory in 1962 where he studied composition with Liu Zhuang, Ding Shande, and Qu Wei. In 1963 China saw political changes under Chairman Mao Zedong which led to a crackdown on Western music, especially that of the 20th century. Wang gave a two-hour public speech in 1964 criticising such policies, which led to him being stripped of his position with the Central Radio Symphony Orchestra. He was banished to Shanxi Province until 1977. From 1964 to 1978, Wang was forced to work as a laborer in Datong, spent 6 months in a mental asylum, and was imprisoned during Cultural Revolution. As a result of being beaten he lost a tooth as well as about 20% of his hearing.
He has written at least 9 symphonies, including a piano concerto, Violin Concerto, several orchestral works, choir, chamber music and for Piano solo. After 1980 Wang was able to study scores of modern Western composers and discovered the music of Béla Bartók, Igor Stravinsky, Arnold Schoenberg, Krzysztof Penderecki, Alfred Schnittke and Witold Lutosławski. He has also been greatly influenced by Russian music especially that of Dmitri Shostakovich and by Chinese folk music.

Liu Dunnan (1940) is a Chinese Composer. I don't have much information about him. He started composing when he was 17 at a high school linked to Shanghai Conservatory and later graduated from said conservatory. Kept on studies in the US during the 80's This piano concerto is was composed in 1973. It's titled Mountain Forest

I also made score slide videos on youtube for both of these

I've been searching for many years a book by a Japanese composer, Y. Akutagawa, 24 preludes, super beautiful music. It was published many years ago, I can't find it anywhere.

Thank you for the info.

I've sent an email to Kawai editions and they kindly answer offering to ship to Spain, no digital edition, unfortunately. The book was around 17 eur, the shipping fee was 18 aprox. It doesn't make any sense to me.

The face value of the title is irrelevant to the cost of shipping books which is a packet size/weight issue.
International shipping is more expensive than usual at this time due to COVID. You should try getting things sent to Australia where often the shipping cost is 2-3 times the cost of the goods. Also getting anything shipped from Spain seems to be more expensive than anywhere else in the Northern Hemisphere in the few places where it is possible.

I've tried to order other sheet music where the publisher insists that I need to have their beautiful paper version and will not sell a digital version. I've explained that I already have too many beautiful paper things, and that I will ordinarily scan the paper music and consign the original to a cupboard along with the CDs or LPs that people try to foist on me now.

Postscript: The cost of this music including shipping is cheaper than the face value cost of a single Adele song sheet or easy piano version of 'Cats'in Japan. There are sheet music albums on Amazon Japan ranging into the hundreds of dollars each. The price quoted by Kawai is a bargain in Japanese terms.

Yes, you're right. Shipping fees in Spain are super expensive comparing to other countries. Things are changing lately, but not that quick as it should be in such a fast world
