Greetings.
This has the beginnings of a wonderful thread.
I am curious-
Villa-Lobos wrote the adorable __3 Marias__, but i can find their score nowhere in Minnesota, nor anywhere, for that matter.
Would anybody by chance have the score?
I am, perhaps prematurely, much obliged.

I know this is a long-shot, but I am looking for two pieces by Radames Gnattali. I know that several of the Choros and Valsas have been circulating for years (Negaceando, Vaidosa, Canhoto, and Mahnosamente) but I am currently trying to get my hands on copies of Perfumosa (Valsa) and Carinhosa (Valsa) in order to complete the set. If there's anyone who can help, please feel free to send me a message or simply respond to this post. Also, I am more than happy to upload the Gnattali that I have (the aforementioned pieces) if there is any interest.

I am interested in Luis Bonfa's piano music.

I believe that his compositions are out of print, a score as an example and any help would be much appreciated.

Dear Tracy:

Thank you, Bonfa was best known for the compositions for the film "Black Orpheus" and its main theme is precisely "Manhã de Carnaval."

Does anyone have anything, just to post as an example of the composer's style, by Edino Krieger? I was really moved by his second piano sonata, wich I heard today. I do know he is still alive, but one piece wouldn't hurt anyone

Nice discovery for me. Lots of his music on Youtube. Modern Brazilian (or more generally South-American) music is very appealing to me.

Does anyone have the music to the 50 Ponteio's by Mozart Camargo Guarnieri?

He was registered at birth as Mozart Guarnieri, but when he began a musical career, he decided his first name was too pretentious and subject to puns. Thus he adopted his mother's maiden name Camargo as a middle name, and thenceforth signed himself M. Camargo Guarnieri. In 1948, he legally changed his name to Mozart Camargo Guarnieri, but continued to sign only the initial of his first name.
One of his brothers was named Rossine Guarnieri, a Portuguese misspelling of Rossini Guarnieri, another one Verdi Guarnieri.
