This collection of Cuban pieces is rather exceptional. Some pieces reflect a classical stance with no folk music influence, but others get those Cuban folk rhythms spot on. There is preciously little piano music from Cuba which really captures the essence, but we have a few pieces here that do. When touring Cuban musicians bring their music here to Panama, they are always a big hit with the locals.

Here’s a link to a nice collection of 40 Danzas by Ignatio Cervantes as edited by Gisela Hernandez and Olga de Blanck. Most are readily available elsewhere, but the three 4-hand Danzas that Walter was looking for 2 years back (have those students graduated yet?) as well as the Fusión de almas (as completed by Maria Cervantes) are included. There is much editorial content in Spanish. It is a large but worthwhile download at about 55 mb.

I'm not aware of an existing PDF for this piece. It's not even listed on Worldcat, so I assume it's only available in the Cuban libraries.
