Dear Ilu (mi Amigo); lito valle and Igod 82,

I have followed your recent postings of works by Allende with absolute fascination. His music is just superb, both pianistically and melodically. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your generosity, as you have shared with me (and with many other PianoPhilians) the works of an extremely obscure and unjustly neglected composer. This spreading of musical joy is what Pianophilia is all about.

Sincerely,

Hello,

thanks again for the scores by Bisquertt and Allende. Here is the little piece by Bisquertt that I promised to send. As I mentioned before, it is most likely a piano reduction - the long sustained chords, the tremoli...
I have no idea if there is a second movement and where to find it.

Enjoy, and best wishes,

mvdH

Does anyone have the score of El Diablo Suelto by the Venezuelan composer Heraclio Fernández (1851-1886)?

Thanks very much.

A PP2 member and friend asked me -a while ago- for El Diablo Suelto. At last, I could got it, from my Venezuelan friend Gerardo Gerulewicz, and now I share with all of you.

Just a nutshell:

Heraclio Fernández Noya (Maracaibo, 1851 - La Guaira, 1886), was a Venezuelan musician, best known for the composition El Diablo Suelto ("The Loose Devil"), published in 1888, is one of the most important Venezuelan songs by Heraclio Fernández, this waltz from the Venezuelan state of Zulia is played as a joropo -a musical style resembling the waltz, and an accompanying dance, having African and European influences-

Hi everyone,

I could need some help on my search for Teresa Carrenos op. 15, the Ballade.
Hildegard doesn't have it, neither does the big BSB or IMSLP...

Any ideas where to search else...?

Thank you in advance,

Arglmann

Hello arglmann,

I have a copy of the Ballade, and will scan it shortly.
I have to send to Malcolm to put the scans on for me as my computer refuses to do it.
You should have it Friday.
Peter (liveforpiano).

Thank you, Rob. Also, as we are talking of Carreno pieces, I would like to ask if anyone has the two pieces in this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EL5TZJL5 ... re=related

The pieces are Reverie-Barcarolle "Venise" Op. 33 and Intermezzo scherzoso Op. 34

Thanks in advance.
