That reminds me of Schiff introducing themes from Figaro into his
K467 first movement cadenza. Apparently, Casadesus played WAM's
K451 cadenzas in K537. Also, this is quite interesting to read and
it quotes Dohnanyi's impressive K453 first movement cadenza in full,
along with the ones by Brahms, Busoni and Fischer.

According to this article, Mendelssohn wrote some cadenzas
for Mozart concertos, but I can't find any!

This article is worth a read.

Don Giovanni seems very popular in the KV466 cadenzas nowadays.

Shalvats, thank you for the Edwin Fischer cadenzas.

Timtin, here is a (German) page of Ralf Wehner's Werkverzeichnis of Mendelssohn.
According to that only (2) cadenzas to KV 365 were written down and survived.
The article that is mentioned in MWV is a large article from R. Larry Todd.
As a sample I've attached the part that discusses the cadenzas.
And thank you for the Reinecke cadenzas.

Thank you to shalvats for the Landowska cadenza and to kroket for the information
about the surviving Mendelssohn cadenzas.

I thought that it might be fun to do my own little cadenza with an operatic quote.
There are no prizes for identifying the quote!

yes, Schiff does the same here, but not in studio recording. and... Edvin Fischer's cadenza for third part of 22 concerto is abridged in this scores, because he plays also theme from middle part Adantino cantabile
