Medtner really has something quite unique to say with these cadenzas for the 4th concerto. I've never seen anything remotely like it.

Continuing Reinecke's cadenzas for Mozart's PCs, Op87 No2 (for K537) is
curious, containing two cadenzas within the one number from this opus,
as indeed does Op87 No1 (for K467).
They're perhaps amongst R's most virtuosic ones of the set.

Thank you very much! Reineckes Mozart Cadenzas are among the finest of the 19th century. And we should remember that in his lifetime he was a real Mozart pioneer who played many more concertos in public than the usual K 466, 491 and 488.

K466 is a good example, where Beethoven's seem to dominate the landscape.
Btw, nobody either here or on IMSLP spotted my boo-boo with K37!
It was file-named and uploaded under the label of 1st. Movt. cadenza.
WRONG! It's the 3rd. Movt. cadenza.

Hi! anyone have Viktor Ullmann Cadenza for Beethoven Piano Concerto No.3 ?

Viktor Ullmann composed this cadenza in "Auschwitz Holocaust " 1944.
He dead in Auschwitz.
