Hi everyone,
I would like to know if there exists a piano reduction
of Leopold Mozart's "Kindersymphonie".
Maybe there exists a transcription for 4 hands?
Would have to go into the right thread, though :-)

Thanks in advance,
Arglmann

Would you be interested in a 2P4H version? I think I have one - not scanned yet.

I think you are giving me the right excuse for a 'Music for Children' thread... That would be particularly useful since we wold be able to collect all these 'Children Symphonies' and 'Toy Symphonies' in whatever form - original or transcription - all in ONE place!!!

Good idea Rob, get everyone back in short trousers, though seriously there is a phenomenal amount of pieces written for children to play and for children to listen to whilst the adult has all the fun playing it. set it up my boy!!

Since Uncle Rob has moved we children into our own thread I suppose I had better get the ball rolling with the Haydn for those who can remember steam radio and Uncle Mac on a saturday morning.

Rob:

It is a great idea, I will be gladly cooperating in this thread.

Sometimes it is a challenge to “simplify” original compositions; simplicity could be a gift, right?

“Children’s compositions” are not always easy, as all PP member know better than I,So this thread would be for little boys and/or beginners.

Anyway it promises to be very interesting.

That would be a very nice thing to do of you, Mouchette :-)
I would appreciate it.
In return, I could only try to post a reduction of a A3 children piece of a guy called "Chwatal".
I only bought it because it featured a children instrument called "glass harmonica" -
of course meaning something totally else than the real glass harmonica, but anyway...sigh...
there really are NO compositions for this damned thing...
Well, this children piece consists only of 8 pages, I think.
If anyone wants it, it's in my room. Waiting to be scanned :-)
