they should have been published by Boccaccini e Spada, even though the album is apparently not quoted in their site

Leoncavallo, Ruggero

Due pezzi di stile arabo : Sous les palmiers (Reverie arabe), Bohemienne ; Spanish album-Airs de balletts espagnols (suite de concert) : Sevillana, Gitano-Tango, Playeras ancienne, Granadinas / Ruggero Leoncavallo ; a cura di Marco Sollini

Boccaccini & Spada, c2005

Hello Caprotti,
thank you for this info about
Boccaccini & Spada.
I didn't know anything about them as publishers.
Is this the same Spada who recorded all Clementi Sonatas?

Thank you
Biljana

for sure Pietro Spada has published a lot of Clementi for them (http://www.boccacciniespada.com/shop/pr ... ducts_id=7)

I don't know if he is involved in the Company or if it is only a name cohincidence ...

Here's another Leoncavallo Gavotte, inspired by Bach.

Dear Caprotti, I had checked the database of my local music shop for those Leoncavallo pieces, but it yielded no results. Many thanks for the information, I am sure, they can get hold of this edition. All Best, sokrates.

Alfonso Rendano (1853 – 1931)

In a letter to Marie Jaëll in 1883, Liszt said that Alfonso Rendano was "a serious and very distinguished composer".

That makes me curious.

He wrote about 70 pieces for piano solo, a Concerto, a Piano Quintet, and an opera. (I wonder if the PPS has a copy of the Concerto.)

Does anyone have any of Rendano's scores?

Thanks very much.

The CPS does have a copy of the concerto, but it is up to the member who scanned it if he wants it to be posted here.

If memory serves, this chap was a pupil of Thalberg.
