Another composer that I have been unable to find much about is Caroline Maude. On the score that I am putting on it says
under her name, Viscountess Hawarden. I found that there were a couple of songs she had written the
music to, but nothing else.
Here is her Irish Suite for Piano.

Thank you for that really interesting contribution. I believe her dates were 1848-1930, and she married the future Viscount in 1881, attaining the title shown on the score in 1905. Music by her seems to have been published as late as 1929. Definitely "salon". Her greatest hit was a waltz called "Les Ivresses".

I've been searching and searching for Louise Farrenc's Op. 48 - Valse Brillante - if anyone knows where it may be found that would be a great help! Thanks !
