Hello !
Im in the same situation… Im looking for the prélude and etude of Maria Szymanowska but can’t find. I did research, even bought 2 books of partitions but there is only the mazurka or nocturne.
If you can help me that will be GREAT :D
Thank you a lot,

Ilona

ilona27 - Szymanowska wrote a number of etudes and preludes - can you be more specific which ones are you after or what work is linked to those two pieces (for example one album published was titled Twenty Exercises & Preludes).

Hi! Does anyone have the score for Mel Bonis' Op. 51 prelude in Ab? I've found 1 recording of it and nothing else, it's beautiful.

Thanks!

I'm sure there is a copy here on pianophilia, but I can't find it.

However, you can download a copy of Mel Bonis 17 Pieces for Piano on Walter's site:

http://waltercosand.com/CosandScores/Co ... 20Melanie/

The Prelude is on page 46.

Hello,

I'm looking for informations about Gayane Chebotaryan, an Armenian woman composer (1918-1998).
There is only small biographies on internet... I didn't find anything about her personal life, or what she did between 1943 and 1947 there is a big hole.
Also there is nothing about her professors at the Leningrad conservatory (Christopher Kushnarev (composition) and Moses Khalfin (piano)).
If you have informations, or know a book that can help, I will be very grateful !
Thank you a lot :)
