A very well done character piece. "Elephants" is surely appropriate what with all of them tramping about in the EU's living room these days. Was just watching a film from Thailand so this really fit my mood.

Thank you, Alfred.

Fernand Goeyens is a new composer in my library. An Alfor speciality--new composers for us to devour.
Thanks for posting this.

I'm trying to locate sheet music for Nocturne in E Flat Major by Willem Coenen of Rotterdam. Here is a link to the YouTube piece that was recorded: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lrr01n3PmI4

Any information on obtaining this piece would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

An early work by Ernst Lübeck was recently uploaded here at Gallica, for anyone interested.

Although a minor composer, Lübeck interests me, so if anyone has any more information – other than the fact he spent his last years in a Paris asylum and that one of his last works was a piano concerto – I'd be glad to receive it :)

I don't know if anyone noticed, but there is an Edouard/Eduard/Edward Silas score posted on Gallica... Silas' scores seem to be elusive, but they are sprinkled about the BnF and the BL...

Her daughter was mentioned in another thread:

Although his place is in this thread, his main career was in France first, where he studied, and then in England where his spent most of his life.

This is probably why his scores are to be found mainly at the BNF and the BL.
