Even for my German ears the title Schmiedepforten-Anlagen Marsch sounds, let's say, unusual.

(The Schmiedepforten-Anlage was the historical name of a street and a park in Reval/Tallinn.)

Composed by Friedrich Christian Strobel (1862-1940).

Does anyone have the Čiurlionis Prelude in F#, Op. 6, No. 1? Imslp has a number of the preludes but not this one. It goes by the title Angelus Domini sometimes. Here’s a recording: https://youtu.be/YwA9YZ2f3D0?list=OLAK5 ... NsipwwcI9g

It’s prominently featured in Jonas Mekas’ wonderful film “Reminiscences of a Journey to Lithuania“ from 1972. Mekas sadly passed away today.

Many thanks!

Eino Tamberg (1930 - 2010). Estonian composer and noted teacher. He wrote few pieces for piano, but this album, his opus 62, hold many of his pieces for younger players. I think selections from this album may have been shared on Pianophilia in the past, but this is the complete album. Translation of titles below.
