Played his Balade from 1946.
He must have visited the communist brother State China!!!
Beginning is reminiscent of Gruodis, but then he gets more and more pentatonic -
the Yellow River is sending its greetings... :mrgreen:

Thanks for the link, Jim. Very happy to have another work by Darzins as I really enjoyed the pieces Alfor posted a while back. Really like the 3rd movement of this sonata.
