Re: Piano Etudes
Might any of my esteemed piano aficionados here have any full sets of piano Etudes by Alexandre Billet or Alexandre Goria (I see a few scattered examples on IMSLP, but I'm looking for full sets).
Thanks

Re: Piano Etudes
Not an Etude, but a Ballade by Goria:-4candles wrote:Might any of my esteemed piano aficionados here have any full sets of piano Etudes by Alexandre Billet or Alexandre Goria (I see a few scattered examples on IMSLP, but I'm looking for full sets).

Re: Etudes
New recording online of this Bravura étude by pianist Artur Cimirro. Amazing how different a professional interpretation/take on things can sound! Not without its mistakes, and there's even a very slight slowing-down at one point. But I certainly enjoyed it!Jean-Séb wrote:An interesting video of a pianist playing Méreaux étude n°24, Bravura. Not much musical substance, but the acrobatics are there!

I guess someone had to do it and Cimirro did a decent job. I still maintain that this is one of the most ridiculous pieces of music ever written.

Hello Members,
I wonder if somebody can open this file? This is a typeset edition of a work by Vladimir Horowitz, but It's impossible to see this file correctly. Any ideas?

Does it mean that you can read the contents? If possible, could you convert this to another file doesn't require fonts? I installed fonts which Jean-Seb mentioned, but still I can't read the score.
