Just found Czerny
"Complete theoretical and practical piano forte school : from the first rudiments of playing to the highest and most refined state of cultivation with the requisite numerous examples newly and expressly composed for the occasion, opera 500 (1839)" online at archive.org, courtesy of Boston public LIbrary.
It was discussed and partially distributed earlier on this thread.. but this is the FULL book in English here

No, that must not be done. The scan is the property of the library even though it is public domain.

why Boston Public library will want to restrain the spreading and referencing of the files AFTER it has paid for its digitization and released it into the wild with NO economic expectation...?

I found this file by chance and think that a proper referencing will give it a broader access....

If they choose to mirror their files on say IMSLP, as do Sibley, then that is their decision and no-one else's. We have had instances on PP of people uploading NMS scans into IMSLP and not crediting or even mentioning the original scanner, many of whom are active on PP. It is not our role to spread files other than on PP, and to take someone else's scan and post it anywhere else without their permission I would regard as rude and inconsiderate of their work.

My experience has been that asking university libraries about redistributing digitised sheet music often gets no reply at all.
