Tim, you have been producing marvelous work. For everyone who wants to find all of his transcriptions on IMSLP: https://imslp.org/wiki/Category:Martin, ... y_Nicholas
Bravo!

I haven’t done this in years but I started working on Glazunov’s Scherzo from Symphony No.7 and will be happy to share it here when it’s ready.

Hi Alex, many thanks for your generous feedback.
I've been a huge Mozart fan for over 55 years. It began with an LP of his Symphony No.40, which I played numerous times when young. I'll never understand how he managed to pack so much into such a short life.
Good luck with the Glazunov transcription.

Of the several Mozart pieces I've recently worked on, this is my favourite. It's a mature work with a deceptively low K number, written in Vienna in 1782. It's a soprano Concert Aria, although no orchestral version survives, just the VS.

Thank you again, Timtin!
And last week I've had a marvelous time at the piano playing your transcription of Mozart's Serenata Notturna.

kroket

Dear kroket and ilu, thank you for your nice feedback - not all classical music websites are as friendly as this one!
Anyway, another Concert Aria with a similar history, i.e. only the VS exists, is attached. It's shorter than the other one and less operatic.

Hi,

Does anyone have the 5 Handel Pieces arranged by Martucci?

The manuscript seems to be on this Italian Database but I can only get the first page, any advice?

Are these the five Handel pieces (aside from the Concertos) listed on Martucci's IMSLP page as arranger?
