Thanks a lot!
But Is it possible to have the whole Grieg-Ginsburg Suite?
In other words to have what is before page 30 (Morning Mood, Aase's Death, Anitra's Dance).....

Is there a transcription of Richard Strauss's Salome? Hopefully someone has this.—I need it by Friday, and I've already asked for it on two other forums!

Also, if someone happens to have a transcription of Fauré's Requiem...

Mei-ting did a pretty amazing one, but it's damn near unplayable.

The piano-vocal score has enough notes to keep any pianist busy, though Strauss transcribes relatively well for piano if one leaves out the inconvenient notes. I once rehearsed a soprano in the final scene (beginning one measure before rehearsal 314) and managed a fairly credible job of it. Once Salome gets the head on the platter, it's smooth sailing. Certainly the piano arrangement isn't as difficult or awkward as that encountered in the Burleske.

Reportedly Korngold had the entire score of Elektra memorized and would often play it at parties. I imagine it was his own transcription with elaborations from the PV score.
