Walter Niemann

Post by Paul »

Dear friends,

since we still have a lot of his piano music to find and scan, I hope he deserves a thread of his own. This one I found in an antique book shop last week.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Malcolm and his group for the work they have done!

All the best

Paul

Thanks Paul,
Any Niemann is always welcome, I sometimes think that I am approaching the end of the search then another 20 or more opuses surface and have been added to his worklist that we didn't know about.
best wishes

I think we could do with a definitive works list for Niemann - and then what has been posted on PP over the past couple of years......any offers from anyone ?

Anyway, I don't think this work has been posted yet...........Op 108 Pavane & Gavotte.

Dear Malcolm,

I am out of town for the next three days, but I hope to find some time make do such a list during the next weekend. I also have ordered about 30 Niemann scores from the city-library in Munich, so I hope to contribute some scans to this thread in the near future.

Thanks for op.108!

Paul - thank you - hope you can track down some interesting Niemann scores and for said promised works list.

Another one here - his Op 95 Modern Miniatures which I don't think has been posted before ? Apologies, pages were very yellowed so some shadowing on scan.

Thanks, Paul - very helpful.

On checking through my Niemann downloads, I find that the score of the 4th sonata, Op 88, is corrupted. Could somebody kindly repost it?

Thanks
