Was going through some large folders of mine of Russian popular songs from around the 1st world war time when I came across this piano piece by P. Rukin, someone of whom I know absolutely nothing. I know this piece comes in the super-rare category as no-one has recorded it and posted it on youtube, always a good guide. No doubt Malcolm will know everything about it but until then enjoy.

Thank you Alfred! Finally, some of the easier ones. I would say Hamlin's fingering is rather "minimalist" and assumes in many places that the fingering is obvious.....I would add maybe obvious but not necessarily optimal. With Alfor fingering, we get our "I's" dotted and "t's" crossed like in the "ppp" legatissimo passages.

Hi HTIEKFR

I do have the full set of Op 8, but have yet to scan them. I'll try to dig out the score and get them scanned as soon as I'm able.

A Gedike - Op 8 Ten Miniatures in the form of etudes.

As promised, although I had to use grayscale on scanning this work, as the score was extremely yellowed and pages fragile (as it was, one tore as I was scanning).

Not sure if Jim or someone might be able to change to a b/w copy ?
